I really enjoyed myself at sidetrack! Jessica and her staff were wonderful and very accommodating. Great food, supremely great house beer. I hope that beer lovers give the house beer a try. I’ve been to Sidetracks many times and the food is ALWAYS great! Everything is tasty and almost has a “home cooked” taste. Like, I’m a kid again and my mom is making my favorite meal because she thinks I’m so special. I’ve only had bad service once when I called in for a pickup order and I think it was a bar tender that was just having a bad day. Love this place!

I ordered a order of chili fries and 20 min later they bring normal fries no chole and host cheese not evin licuoid and I order a bacon cheese burger and they gave me a hamburger with everything on it overall the food was pretty good just horrible service

We ate their great food on their extended outside patio where our dog was welcome to join us. Awesome!

I have lived in Ypsi pretty much my whole life & this was my first time there. My burger was great. The fries were sad. No salt & they weren't hot & crispy. But all in all I'd come back for sure.Bonus you can bring your dog here & sit outside. Was so nice to see a pit bull there with its family behaving & no one freaking out. WTG sidetrack for allowing such beautiful creatures to dine with their humans.

Had drinks and appetizer. Jake was amazing and friendly great atmosphere.

Despite having over 150 guests my family received excellent and swift service from a very friendly staff. Amazing food and a great experience. I’ll definitely be recommending this place to friends in the area!

Good meal with great friends! Service was good. We did get shuffled from one server to another???? The food was good. The server's took good care of us. Will be back when we can sit outside again!

I've been here many a time and have always been pleased by the service and quality of food. They have a great selection of beer for the beer enthusiasts out there! If you enjoy a good hot chocolate like myself, try the Butt Warmer. Lastly, the burgers have always been cooked exactly how we've asked and are delicious.

Generally a good place but handled our recent takeout order really poorly. Idk if they were just busy or what but I don't think I'm going to order takeout from them again.

This is always a miss for me. The service is always friendly but they always get something wrong with the food. I have yet to have gone here and had a smooth experience. However, I always hear other people have a great experience so maybe I'm just unlucky. The food is great, tiny bit pricey but it's good.

Excellent menu, excellent beer selection, great decor, seats for large groups always available even when busy. Highly staffed. Sunday Bloody Mary bar is outstanding. Amtrak passes right up against building at 50 mph!P.S. I'm the Umpire that sends all the baseball teams there every weekend!

Delicious food, and the restaurant is way bigger on the inside than it appears from the outside. I love being able to sit on the patio when it’s nice out too. Lots of options for food and drinks to appeal to everyone!

If you live in or near Ypsilanti, you've got to visit Sidetracks at least once, but chances are you'll keep coming back because the food is amazing and the atmosphere is great! The bar is stocked with tons of great liquor and their craft cocktails are to die for. Lived in Ypsilanti nearly 10 years and never had a bad experience at Sidetracks.I highly suggest their turkey reuben if you feel like something light and their Southwestern Mac and Cheese will knock your socks off!Plus its a great locally owned business and the owners frequently show up to greet their patrons when they're free

Great service. I had a very good burger with excellent fries. Table mate had fish and chips that he said were excellent as well.

Menu leaned a little too heavily on typical bar food. I had the stuffed salmon with rice "pilaf" which should have just been called wild rice... there was nothing "pilaf" about it. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.

Love this place. Fried pickles, burgers and the best, most surprising part for me was the train. Really beautiful bathroom - such a huge upgrade since my first visit years ago. Cool outdoor seating in the back - dog friendly. :)

Great location. The Amtrak train went by whole we there. Great menu and fantastic prices.

Killer place to have a good time and a cold brew

Went with a large group--12 ladies. We had a small room all to ourselves which was perfect. The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating. Service was great and the food got really good reviews from everyone. Parking can be a bit of a problem during peak times.

Service is good, atmosphere is cool. I ordered an Impossible burger with sweet potato fries... Both were top notch.Added: I went back this weekend and wanted to share photos of the desserts we ordered. To die for. The brownie sundae and the bread pudding...huge and delicious. The only sundae that I've had that had plenty of hot fudge. The Carmel sauce.. not sure what it actually was. Tastes great on the desert, but not by itself.

The fried pickles. Always get the fried pickles. Happy hour is great too. Can't think of anywhere else in the Ann Arbor/Ypsilanti area that offers a 27oz beer for less than $4.

If you've already been here then you already know why you always come back. For locals it's most definitely a " let's meet at Sidetrack ". If you've never been, come here and you'll always return. Good food. Great beer. Friendly atmosphere.

My family and I go here at least once a month! The menu and drink list always has something for everyone! Sidetracks is located next to train tracks in the historic Depot Town of Ypsilanti, MI. A train goes by every so often and the kids love it!

Classic bar food done really well. Lots of vegetarian options. Typically busy but lots of seating. Almost too much seating to be honest. It can feel a little crowded at times. But I would always say yes to Sidetracks.

This is a slice of Americana, with a great beer menu. When the train rumbles by, you'll feel like you're in a more diverse Norman Rockwell painting.

Pretty diverse new-american menu that pulls from a lot of influences. HUGE beer list from all over the Midwest. Super friendly staff. Outdoor seating is great when it's an option. The Louisiana White Fish Sandwich is excellent.Whether you're a local or just passing through, you gotta go sometime.

Great burger. The waiter was so friendly wish I would of got his name, gave us food info on the history of the bar and the area. We enjoyed our food and will be back! Great place, thank you for having us!

They were really busy on Sunday night. They seated us without a super long wait. However it was an hour before we were served food. The waitress did let us know that the kitchen was behind. She finally brought us crackers shortly before our food came. When we were leaving they started to give free appetizers to tables still waiting. The food was good.

I have been here multiple times and always love it. There is something so charming about this place that I always feel like I’m somewhere special. This last time I made the mistake of sitting outside on the “heated” patio in order to get seated quicker. MY fault cause they did ask me... but it was not warm enough. ALSO you loose so much of the charm and ambience of the experience outside (at least in the winter). Like I said I would 100% recommend this place, the food and service are amazing... just opt for an indoor seat!!!

One of the best places to eat whether you're in Ypsi or Ann Arbor. Don't just have the burgers, everything is great. Plus, when you order an iced tea they bring you a whole carafe. Just for that it's my favorite place.

Ambiance is great especially during Christmas with the decor! Food is fantastic....They have different combinations of egg rolls and they are all so good! You can get cozy home cooked classics like shepherd's pie and pot roast too.. Bloody Mary bar has an amazing selection of toppings and seasonings. If your ever in ypsi check this place out for a beer or most importantly the food!

We sat at the bar and received really good, friendly, polite, and professional service. The food was amazing! We ordered the fried mushrooms, and fried avocado for our appetizer, and a burger called the Lieutenant Dan and it was perfect! I definitely recommend this place!

I adore this bar! It's not like a bar but a fancy restaurant but still with a dive bar heart. Get an amazing burger or homemade chicken and dumplings or the pot roast is amazing. They also have French dip sliders with provolone and their French onion soup? I'd like a hot tub sized bowl please. Like beer? Check out their selection, something for the fruity beer lover, the lager lover, and IPAs too. Plus a full bar.

This was a favorite place when my daughter was an EMU student, both as a hangout with her friends, and to take her family to when we visited. We still stop by when in the area. Great veggie burgers, fish tacos and cider. We love to eat outside when weather cooperates. Both food and service have always been good. Parking is limited.

This is one of my favorite bars ever. From the food to the staff, everything is awesome! They have delicious burgers and apps, their prices are super reasonable, and the happy hour prices are some of the best I've seen! ItsIt's great if you wanna grab a quick bite or to hang out after work or during the night. Alone or with a group, Sidetrack works for all!

Food was delicious... atmosphere was warm and friendly... our waitress was very good and attentive.

Very fair pricing and awesome service. Good selection of micros on tap and a good knowledge of mixed cocktails. The menu is great, however I feel they are trying to be too mainstream with the whole "vegan" thing. DONT! Your venue is great as is, dont buy into the norm. Stick to your roots, Michigan Product at its finest.

Delicious food! The staff was friendly and courteous. The wait time was just as expected. Perfectly cooked burger. I literally have zero complaints.

Don't go here on Monday afternoons they have the worst manager working their then. I ordered my food with everything spicy on the side and I received cajun rice. Then when I told her she never even offered my money back.

First outing since coronavirus hit in march. Great experience, outdoor seating with widely spaced tables decorated with potted palms, servers masked, diners masked until seated. I was able to relax and enjoy one of the best hamburgers I have ever had. Thank you for keeping us all safe, a posting in one of my Facebook groups said you were very good about safety which is why we chose to come out.

Great food and amazing beer and liquor selection. Staff is super friendly and fast to take care of you. Food always come out nice and hot and never had a bad plate delivered to my table. Strongly suggest this to anyone visiting depot town!
